Saving the world one face at a time

How can someone protect the environment, provide sustainable employment for farmers in Africa, reduce pesticide use, save money, and feel better about themselves and the world they live in?  A small company based in the southeast, MuLondon, seems to want to save the world, one face at a time.  And they do it by providing consumers with all natural vegan moisturising products with varieties such as “Lavender”, “Marigold Frankincense and Myrrh”, “White Chocolate Truffle”, “Hemp”, and “Rose, Rosehip and Rosemary”.

MuLondon moisturisers are surprisingly simple and natural, which in and of itself is rare in the sea of “does everything for you” cosmetics.  No artificial additives or preservatives.  Only shea butter, natural oils, and essential oils and essences.  “We don’t try to fool the consumer into thinking they might be getting the fountain of youth. Our moisturisers do a spectacular job, but do it honestly, very mindful that skin is precious and needs to be pampered, and that the planet is just as precious and needs to be loved and cared for,” says the founder and developer of the moisturising product line, Boris Zatezic.

While most consumers recognise the benefits of buying natural, organic, or vegan products, and like the idea of never using or testing animals in products or their development, many feel that the cost is too high, especially during these tough economic times.  Zatezic didn’t shy away from the challenge, and insists that his products are an extreme value, “with MuLondon moisturisers, because they are superconcentrated without added water, they last longer, work better, and you really only need to use a tiny bit.  I have kept the out of pocket cost down as well, because I really do want people to see how they can help themselves and a sustainable world.”

“I have always felt that the true beauty of a person comes from within, from their soul,” says Boris, founder of MuLondon, “and I wanted to create products for people who care about the people and the world around them.  I think, with my moisturisers, people can feel good that they are doing something for themselves, of course, but in a way that helps people, helps promote a vegan and organic lifestyle, and helps to provide a livelihood to people in a sustainable way.”
