Melvita introduces new Rose Hydration Collection

 

The new Rose Hydration Collection by Melvita harnesses the power of 5 active rose ingredients, uniquely brought together in synergy for stimulated and deeply hydrated skin and a radiant complexion.

 

This breakthrough maximises hydration in 3 steps:

 

1. Provides moisture: The rose floral water directly supplies moisture which is delivered to the Stratum Corneum which provides a better hydration to the upper layer of the epidermis.

 

2. Locks-in moisture: 5 active ingredients are supplied from the Hundred-petalled rose, rose hip oil, rose seed milk, rose essential oil and rose enfleurage. These ingredients uniquely act in synergy to help prevent water loss by maintaining the quality of the hydrolipidic film and ensures better cohesion between corneocytes.

 

3. Distributes moisture: New active ingredient, wild rose petal extract, stimulates the synthesis of aquaporins for better hydrated cells. This allows for the diffusion of moisture through the skin cell layers and ensures it is carried to the heart of the cells.

 

In vitro testing with the wild rose extract has led to proven results which show that aquaporin synthesis is increased by 53% with just 1% of the extract.
