Fashion, beauty and entertainment agency Avant PR has been appointed by Didsbury’s The Wilson Bleasdale Clinic to handle its press and celebrity relations and social media. Run by Joan Wilson, The Wilson Bleasdale Clinic is one of just a handful of clinics across the country which specialises in Cosmetic Acupuncture, a holistic procedure that subtly echoes the results of botox. Avant PR has been tasked with working across both local (Manchester) and national press, introducing celebrities to the clinic and procedure and managing The Wilson Bleasdale Clinic’s social media platforms. A chartered physiotherapist with specialist expertise in acupuncture, Joan is one of just 13 clinicians in Europe to hold a diploma in Cosmetic Acupuncture and Chinese Cosmetology from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology. She is also registered as a specialist practioner with the Chinese Medical Institute  and Register in London.
