Following the opening of the Bally flagship store on London’s New Bond Street; Bally has announced a collaboration with London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. Bally has challenged students from London College of Fashion (UAL) to identify and create the shoe caring services of the future using the very latest in technology and material. Students of the School of Management and Science from LCF, UAL have researched, analysed and conceptualised an innovative response to the initial brief of reinventing unique shoe caring services and products of the future. The outcomes of the project will be developed by students of the School of Media and Communications who will also provide imaginative ways of communicating these new services. Bally and London College of Fashion have been collaborating since 2014 on this project. On March 19, 2015, the students’ final designs will be showcased and presented to a judging panel which will include Frederic de Narp, Bally CEO, Anne-Marie Gaultier, and Tony Chambers, Editor-in-Chief of Wallpaper*.
