Fashion Scout has announced its AW16 Ones to Watch. Designers include Dian Pelangi x Nelly Rose x Odette Steele, Edda (pictured) and Fengyi Tan. Winners of The British Council and London College of Fashion Indonesian Residency, Nelly Rose and Odette Steele worked with renowned Indonesian designer Dian Pelangi to demonstrate the interconnectivity between women across the world and celebrate culture and multiple identities. Edda is a BA Womenswear Graduate at the London College of Fashion in 2015, who has been featured in the New York Times as one of the ten “Fresh Out Of Fashion School Designers To Watch”, her aesthetic combines knit, print and embroidery in a graphic monochrome collection. Fengyi Tan is the eponymous womenswear brand based in London and Shanghai. Fengyi graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2015 with a collection that created a unique aesthetic based on the interaction of space, movement and the body, capturing the ‘moment of movement’.
