Fashion industry portal FashionCapital.co.uk has announced its relaunch with a fresh new look, clear navigation and additional training and apprenticeship information. The site supports the fashion industry as a one-stop online resource with a dedicated team of journalists, mentors and industry experts to ensure users receive an insight into the world of fashion, manufacturing and business. To enable start-up labels to secure a comprehensive banking package FashionCapital.co.uk has joined forces with NatWest bank to provide the bethebest@natwest initiative. New FashionCapital.co.uk members / fledgling designers shortlisted for the initiative by a selected mentoring panel will be invited to film a business pitch, which will go live on FashionCapital.co.uk and its accompanying social media networks. Throughout the process FashionCapital.co.uk’s sister company Fashion Enter will mentor, source fabrics, make samples and supply production for the up-and-coming designers. Designers will then need to actively promote their product for one month before providing feedback to the panel on what they have achieved as well as completing NatWest’s Small Business Lending process. At this stage designers find out how much NatWest is prepared to loan them to take their business to the next level. The initiative not only provides the opportunity to secure a comprehensive banking package and essential mentoring advice but it provides instant exposure and encourages designers to look at all aspects of their business including marketing and promotion.
