This September will see the launch of the second Oxford Street Fashion Showcase. Hosted by the New West End Company and the British Fashion Council, the campaign will run from September 12-19 (at the same time as London Fashion spring/summer 2015). The series of events includes Style Seminars led by Oxford Street flagship retailers and fashion style icons, including presenter and food columnist Laura Jackson; designer Jasmine Guinness; and MTV presenter Becca Dudley. Visitors can expect an interactive styling session with a fashion editor; a Q&A session with new design talent; and discussions on fashion, blogging and social media. Retailers will also be launching capsule collections to showcase the new season’s styles, while the mile-long street will be dressed with 75 giant fashion flags, depicting the work of some of Britain’s most notable, homegrown designers.
