River Island announces Movember clothing partnership

River Island has announced the launch of a capsule collection in support of men’s health foundation MOVEMBER. The charity has teamed up with the River Island design team to produce four distinctive shirt designs, with a percentage of the profits from all shirts sold being donated to the charity. Designed in house with input from Movember’s very own Dan Cooper, the collection is comprised of classic Oxford button down shirt styles in 100% cotton, with a focus on quality fabrication and contemporary silhouettes. Each of these styles has a button-down collar, a Movember ‘M’ embroidery on the chest pocket, a moustache embroidered on the sleeve gauntlet, and a Movember ‘M’ branded satin tab on the placket. Styles consist of French navy with white polka dot print, lightweight charcoal crosshatch style, red, blue and yellow check, and classic white. River Island will celebrate the collaboration with a ‘shave down’ event’ at their 213 Oxford Street store, hosting a pop-up barbershop in store to helping fledgling ‘Mo Bros’ get started for the month of November.
