    River Island teams with James Long for menswear collection

    River Island has announced a collaboration with menswear label James Long as part of its spring/summer 2015 Design Forum initiative. The 10-piece collection features a hooded nylon bomber jacket which features hand drawn art by James as well as gold tone zips on the shoulders, which transform the piece into a gilet. Other pieces include striped sweatshirts, an oversized t-shirt, trimmed shorts, neoprene joggers, mirrored sunglasses and a neoprene rucksack featuring James’ sketches. The 10-piece collection will launch alongside a short film directed by Menno Fokma at LC:M in January 2015 at the Fashion Film event. The collection goes on sale in February with prices ranging from £28 – £90.
