The shortlist for the annual WGSN Global Fashion Awards was announced last night in London. The shortlist of nominees spans across 19 fashion design, buying and retail categories and includes: Sophia Webster, Mansur Gavriel, Charlotte Simone, Yaling Liu – Breakthrough Footwear & Accessories Designer; Faustine Steinmetz, Lily Kamper, Marques’Almeida, Liam Hodges – Avery Dennison RBIS Emerging Brand; Nudie Jeans, Diesel, Kings of Indigo, AG Denim – iSKO Denim Design; Whistles, Equipment, Finery London, Madewell – Womenswear Design; Topshop, Primania – Primark, El Palacio de Hierro, Geekgoeschic.com – Best Digital Innovation; and Karen Millen, Duke Street Emporium – Jigsaw, Level Shoe District, Debenhams Oxford Street – Best Store. The winners will be announced on May 14 – see Fashion and Beauty Insight Events.
