Caudalie opens first store in New York
17 years after creating the Caudalie brand, Mathilde and Bertrand Thomas are opening their first store in the heart of New York City
Here the unique beauty experience featuring grapes and vines is fully expressed through the brand’s philosophy. You can have it all: nature, science and glamour.
The store’s design revisits the emblematic codes of the Vinothérapie® Spa Les Sources de Caudalie and those of Château Smith Haut Lafitte, while drawing on Mathilde Thomas’ personal style.
The store window is a little piece of nature with grapevines beckoning you in. The storefront and interior design are dominated by white, plum and wood tones; the distinction of oak and marble are set off by the presence of flat screens showing the vineyards of Château Smith Haut Lafitte for as far as the eye can see, making you feel like you’re strolling through the Bordeaux-based wine-growing estate. Illustrations of vines trail over the walls. Photos recount the history of the brand and its founders. The entire space is enveloped in a soft atmosphere provided by the light of Niche Modern Binary lamps designed to look like large cut grapes.
In the center of the store, the barrel bar invites you to discover and try the products by yourself or with the assistance of Valdet, the Caudalie Vinotherapist, expert in the Caudalie Spa products and treatments, who offers personalized consultations by appointment. The experience begins with a boost, the not-to-be-missed Caudalie ritual of enjoying an organic Caudalie Herbal Tea or freshly squeezed organic grape juice.
Three exclusive treatments will be available: The Fresh Crushed Cabernet, Instant Beauty Flash Facial and Hand exfoliation followed by a massage with Caudalie Hand & Nail Cream.
