Winners announced for Marie Claire Hair Awards 2020

Marie Claire UK has announced the winners of its 4th annual Hair Awards, recognising the ultimate hair products and tools in the market and celebrating hair brands acting ethically and sustainably. Beauty and style director Lisa Oxenham and the Marie Claire beauty team were joined this year by a
panel of 50 expert judges, including Sam McKnight, Katie Piper, Adam Reed, Larry King, Luke Hersheson, Jasmine Hemsley, Neelam Gill, Charlotte Mensah, Charli Howard, Marie Claire JetStyle founder Steph Stevenson and Fabled by Marie Claire CEO Amanda Scott. Winners were presented with their awards this morning at Corinthia London, a venue chosen because of its commitments to sustainability and charitable causes, with attendees served an all-
vegan menu and the event having a zero-food-waste policy. Marie Claire chose Haircuts4Homeless, founded by veteran hairdresser Stewart Roberts to offer haircuts for people on the streets, as the charity partner for the event and used the ceremony to highlight and support the charity’s work, with the brand making a donation on behalf of attendees.
