British watch brand Christopher Ward announces rebrand
British watch brand Christopher Ward has announced a rebrand and appointed UK design agency Hello to create a fresh edge for the company that better reflects its ambition, place in the market and continuing success. A new logo will be used company-wide, and changed from Chr.Ward to Christopher Ward. This will be displayed on all new watches in the ‘quarter to’ position, instead of the industry-wide ’12 o’clock’ position. A new graphic will be used across the business reflecting a stylised representation of the English and Swiss flags, after merging with Synergies Horlogères of Switzerland. Two new watch models will be launching under the Trident Collection in May – the C65 Trident Vintage and the C65 Trident Classic. Both will feature the new logo and showcase the pared-down design cues that Christopher Ward is introducing onto its collection. Additionally, a revamp of the website will be also made to keep in line with the brand’s fresh look and a redesigned Christopher Ward magazine, renamed Loupe, will be distributed in May.
