New commercial appointments announced at Condé Nast Britain
New commercial appointments have been announced at Condé Nast Britain. Emma Redmayne is named Publishing Director of a newly combined House & Garden and The World of Interiors commercial team, and Kate Slesinger is named Publishing Director of Tatler and Vanity Fair, it was announced today by Nicholas Coleridge, Managing Director, and Albert Read, Deputy Managing Director of Condé Nast Britain. Emma and Kate take up their newly created roles with immediate effect. Emma came to Condé Nast from IPC in 1991, joining Vogue as a sales executive, progressing to Beauty Advertising Director. Emma then moved to The World of Interiors in 1997 as Ad Director, subsequently becoming Associate Publisher, a role Emma combined with that of Promotions Director. Emma became Publisher of The World of Interiors in 2004. Kate was previously Publishing Director of House & Garden, and prior to that was the highly successful Publishing Director of Condé Nast Traveller from 2004 to 2009, in addition to time at Vogue as Associate Publisher. Kate joined Condé Nast from J Walter Thompson New York. The structures of the newly combined Tatler and Vanity Fair and House & Garden and The World of Interiors commercial teams will be announced in the coming weeks. This news follows the recent successful consolidation of the Condé Nast Traveller and Brides sales teams.
