Treatwell, the online beauty bookings service and mobile app, has announced it will be partnering with The Prince’s Trust to support more young people to set up their own hair and beauty businesses. The Prince’s Trust runs an Enterprise programme, which offers training, mentoring and funding support to 18-30 year-olds. Treatwell will be supporting the trust through funding young people to participate in the Enterprise programme who want to start a beauty business, and waiving sign up fees for Prince’s Trust beauty businesses to join Treatwell. As Treatwell launches its partnership with The Prince’s Trust, CEO Lopo Champalimaud announces an exciting expedition with the “Antarctic Enterprise” team to the South Pole, raising vital funds for the youth charity. Lopo Champalimaud will join a team of seven other business leaders (including Treatwell’s chairman, Klaus Nyengaard), ‘Team Enterprise’, on a trip which will take them from Punta Arenas, the bottom tip of Chile, to the South Pole, which they are expected to reach just before Christmas.
