Fluorescent PR has been appointed to handle media relations, blogger outreach and celebrity seeding for footwear brand Inkkas. Created in 2012 by designer Daniel Ben-Nun following a backpacking trip to South America, each pair of Inkkas shoes are handmade by local artisans in Peru using authentic South American textiles. The range for men, women and children features mid-tops, slip ons and lace ups. As part of the brand’s values to support the local communities that make the products, Inkkas have teamed with Trees For The Future, a global tree planting organisation. Inkkas are available online at eu.inkkas.com, Urban Outffiters, USC and from May in Topshop, Oxford Street.
