River Island has announced an exclusive footwear collaboration for autumn/winter 2014 with fashion blogger, Sandra Hagelstam from blog 5 Inch and Up. Finnish born Sandra, launched 5 Inch and Up in 2010 whilst studying Design at London College of Fashion. The collaboration sees the launch of a capsule footwear collection consisting of six styles, due to launch November 2014. The range is true to Sandra’s signature style, with clean lines, muted colour palette and the finest of detailing. Mock lacing is found on suede over the knee boots, ankle boots and court shoes. Slick black ponyskin mules and snake and mock croc ankle boots, inject interesting fabrics and textures to the collection. In line with the collection launch in November, a How to Walk In High Heels video Masterclass by Sandra, will be featured on riverisland.com and River Island’s YouTube channel. The 5 Inch and Up collection will be available in select River Island stores and online with prices ranging from £85 – £185.
