This week sees the launch of new beauty app YouCam Makeup. The app, which encourages users to try on make-up looks of their favourite top models, recreates make-up styles of supermodels such as Cara Delavigne or Kendal Jenner enabling users to apply them to their selfies. The app’s creators have analysed hundreds of supermodel make-up styles to come up with some of the most trademark characteristics such as Cara Delavigne’s signature golden smokey eyes or Giselle Bündchen’s sun-kissed makeup glow among others. YouCam Makeup harnesses the latest facial detection and skin analysis technologies to create realistic cosmetic overlays on selfies and portrait photos. The app features a complete set of true-to-life make-up effects including eye shadow palettes, lengthening and volumising mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, blush and foundation as well as flawless skin effects. YouCam Makeup is available for free on the App Store and Google Play.
