Net-a-Porter launches fashion-focused social network The Net Set
Luxury online retailer Net-a-Porter has announced the launch of The Net Set, a new fashion-focused social network. The initial invite-only launch, scheduled on May 13, will enable users to build a personal profile, as well as follow celebrities, friends and trends. Users will also have an opportunity to buy Net-a-Porter products and upload images that can be matched with products available on the site. Net-a-Porter brands will also be given their own profiles to enable interaction with customers. The Net Set will be free to download in the iTunes App Store, with a later Android launch planned.
