MAC has unveiled its first flagship Pro store in Carnaby Street. Launching in September, the store marks the largest global Pro flagship for MAC. Consisting of more than 250 different products, the MAC Pro collection provides make-up artists with a range of high-quality formulations, colours and finishes needed for fashion shows, photography shoots and on television, music and film sets. The new store provides an advanced retail concept that blends high touch service with creativity and distinction. The store premieres an eight metre high feature wall dedicated to showcasing the creativity of emerging, local artists or designers throughout the year. One creative will take over the installation space with a self-contained piece of work, created exclusively for MAC, celebrating the best of British talent. The store will feature innovative retail experiences including a comprehensive library area for customers and make-up artists to seek inspiration and references. Nine ergonomically designed makeup stations with professional lighting and adjustable seating allows MAC Artists to express their talent, while two private make-up areas will allow groups to share in the ultimate MAC experience. MAC Carnaby is dedicated to the art of make-up, offering complimentary walk-in demos, as well as applications and lessons by appointment. Highly skilled artists undergo a rigorous certification process delivering a personalised look to celebrate individuality with exceptional service. The Pro flagship will offer specialist make-up services such as bridal, theatrical, make-up lessons and workshops such as MAC Techniques for All Ages, All Sexes, All Races.
