Florist Mark Colle designs 2015 Christmas tree at The London EDITION
The London EDITION has announced that its Christmas tree this year has been exclusively designed for the Lobby bar by world-renowned florist Mark Colle. On first glance the tree will appear to be a traditional Christmas fir, but on closer inspection reveal a plethora of living materials arranged together into a towering mosaic of plants. Presented in complementary shades of green and red, the tree will consist of mosses, traditional Christmas greens and ivy. The scent of the tree will fill the EDITION lobby with familiar festive aromas, with the addition of traditional glass light bulbs to emulate Christmas baubles, illuminating the structure from top to bottom. The Christmas tree will be on display from November 23 until the New Year, in the lobby of Ian Schrager’s EDITION hotel.
