Missoni has announced the launch of its new Missoni Eau de Parfum, the first Missoni women’s fragrance made and distributed by Euroitalia. This new floral, fruity and woody scent contains a trio of Italian OrPur citruses (lemon, bergamot, “Pomme d’Amour” citron) and pear at its head; mahonial, petalia, jasminum sambac at its heart; and a base of ambrosia, tonka bean and sandalwood. International actress and model, Elisa Sednaoui, has been chosen as the face of the campaign. The fragrance’s debut is expected to take place in mid-November following the release of the advertising images and commercial – all directed by Paolo Sorrentino. Angela Missoni took inspiration from the art of Venetian blown glass to create a unique glass bottle in shades of purple, fuchsia and green, blending together to result in a precious object with a contemporary and timeless design. Following it’s launch in Italy, the fragrance launches in Harrods on November 22 and will be available throughout Europe, the Middle East, America and the rest of the world in 2016. Priced at £42 (30ml), £60 (50ml) and £80 (100ml).
