    Matthew Williamson launches active wear collection with USA PRO

    British fashion designer, Matthew Williamson, has launched a collection of active and yoga wear in collaboration with sportswear brand USA PRO. The ten-piece capsule collection includes leggings, zip-up jackets and crop tops, ranging across three prints. Each print taps into the Matthew Williamson DNA – referencing nature, exotic travels and artisanal influences. They touch on the brand’s past, present and future: the vivid Alpaca Fade / Aztec print was first used in beachwear for AW04 while the kaleidoscopic Butterfly Wheel is a permanent style and the exotic Painted Python print launches in May this year as part of the latest ready-to-wear collection for high summer. The colour palette is vibrant – particularly when contrasted against block colour trims. The prints are designed to be styled boldly with garments contrasted against each other. The zip-up top is created with this in mind with its Butterfly Wheel body contrasting against a Painted Python collar. The collection ranges from a high neck bra (£65) to a zip up hoodie top (£150). It will be available in store and online at flannels.com, Cruise, Van Mildert and matthewwilliamson.com in sizes 6-14 from mid-June, pre orders are available now.
