    Lauretta Roberts departs WGSN to head up The Industry full-time

    Lauretta Roberts, former Director of Brand & Propositions at WGSN, has left the global trend authority to focus her efforts full-time on The Industry, the fashion industry content and events business, she acquired a year ago. Lauretta, who prior to WGSN was Editor of fashion industry publication Drapers, has plans to develop The Industry into a fully fledged online resource for fashion professionals, supported by a range of live and online events. The Industry team is comprised of Lauretta, who is Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief; Antony Hawman, Director and Shareholder and Founder of agency ThePartnershipAtelier; Oliver Merlin, Business Development Director; David Watts, Editor-at-Large; and Sandra Halliday, Contributing Editor and former Editor-in-Chief at WGSN and Stylus Fashion. There are also a number of occasional contributors.
