Men’s footwear label Duke & Dexter has announced the launch of its flagship store opening in London, located on Earlham Street, Seven Dials. Designed by the in-house team in partnership with Dreambox, it incorporates a minimalist approach, featuring white washed walls and a dark varnished floor. The rear of the store will feature a lounge area and coffee bar, where customers can relax and enjoy a complimentary coffee. The D&D lounge will include a wall montage, highlighting the brand’s journey from campaign imagery to celebrity clients, including the likes of Ryan Reynolds, Jonah Hill and Eddie Redmayne accepting his Oscar Award in 2015. Duke & Dexter have partnered with Sheffield based Buckshot Coffee Company – a testament to the brand’s Sheffield heritage, where all D&D’s are handmade in their traditional workshop. Additionally, the store will feature its very own Bespoke Bar. Customers will be able to design a completely personalised pair of shoes from start to finish, including the option to have their initials or motifs embroidered. The bar will also showcase the brand’s upcoming collaboration with shoe artist Daniel Cordas.
