Luxury British lifestyle brand Belstaff has announced the appointment of a new head of womenswear design. Delphine Ninous, whose curriculum includes successful appointments at a number of major internationally renowned brands – most recently in Paris with Paul & Joe, but also Christian Lacroix, Isabel Marant and Comptoir Des Cotonniers, and in New York with Diane von Furstenberg – will officially start at Belstaff on October 27th as VP of Women’s Design and will report to new CEO, Gavin Haig. Delphine will oversee the artistic direction of all womenswear collections and the creative development of the women’s side of the brand. Her immediate priority will be to work on the AW15 collection and to establish a future vision for the Belstaff women, interpreting this into an identity for forthcoming women’s collections. Delphine’s first collection for Belstaff will be autumn/winter 2015, which will be presented during London Fashion Week in February 2015.
