GQ appoints Fashion Director
Robert Johnston has been appointed Fashion Director of British GQ, it was announced today by Dylan Jones, Editor of British GQ. Robert joined GQ in September 2008 as Associate Editor and was promoted to Style Director in September of last year. Elsewhere in the GQ fashion department Grace Gilfeather has been promoted to Fashion Editor, while Holly Roberts has been promoted to Senior Fashion Assistant, both with immediate effect. Additionally Katie Grand, Luke Day, Luke Leitch and Lou Stoppard are appointed Contributing Fashion Editors of GQ with immediate effect. Robert will take up his new position on November 1. Former Creative Fashion Director Jo Levin has left the magazine after nearly 24 years to pursue a freelance portfolio career. A replacement for the role Johnston moves on from will be announced in due course.
