Award-winning Young Adult author Juno Dawson, formerly James Dawson, has been appointed as columnist for GLAMOUR, it was announced today by Jo Elvin, Editor of the magazine. Having unveiled her transition from male to female last autumn, Juno will share her experience on a monthly basis with the readers of GLAMOUR. Joining Juno at the beginning of the long road ahead of her, in her first column for GLAMOUR she opens up on the process of understanding and accepting her gender identity, describes the difficulties of choosing a new name for herself, and asks what it means to be a woman in today’s society. Juno’s first column for GLAMOUR can be read in the February issue of the magazine, on sale now, before the series moves to GLAMOUR.com with part two – which will be published on February 4.
