Alfol, an independent publishing company that specialises in hair, has announced the appointment of Sarah-Jane Corfield-Smith as Editor of its consumer-facing hair website, Layered. Sarah-Jane will be joining layeredonline.com from May 3, and will work in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and remotely on Thursdays. She would like to hear from PRs about all things hair-related, including product launches, treatment innovations and salons based all over the UK. Sarah-Jane has been a freelance Beauty Editor for over 10 years and contributed to titles such as Stylist, LOOK, The Times, telegraph.co.uk, Now, Fabulous, The Daily Mail, Woman, Top Sante, Boots Health & Beauty, Dare, Essentials, Zest as well as writing for Emirates Woman and Harvey Nichols (UAE).
