NME appoints Digital Editor
NME has announced the appointment of Charlotte Gunn to the role of Digital Editor. Charlotte will be delivering NME’s digital growth strategy across mobile, desktop, social and native apps. Working closely with editor-in-chief Mike Williams, Charlotte will also play a key role in the development of digital brand extensions and new product launches. Charlotte is an experienced digital strategist and editor, with over nine years’ experience working in digital publishing. During this time, Charlotte has worked on the launches of Red Online and goodtoknow. Charlotte took the helm of goodtoknow as editor in 2011 and under her direction, the brand became the UK’s number one women’s lifestyle site with yearly traffic growth increasing by 150%. Charlotte is currently audience development manager for Time Inc. UK’s lifestyle brands, specialising in search, social and CRM growth strategies. Charlotte takes up her new role on 23 November and replaces Greg Cochrane.
