Fashion and Beauty Insight – PR & Marketing Assistant

    An opportunity has arisen for a PR & Marketing Assistant at Fashion and Beauty Insight, the provider of News, Alerts, Events and Contacts across the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industries.

    PR Activity
    Assist with media requests
    Distribute press releases and imagery to media
    Engage and develop relationships with media, brands and influencers

    Marketing & Campaign Activity
    Assist with all internal and external marketing activities
    Assist with digital and print marketing campaigns
    Assist with social media marketing (campaigns)
    Assist in developing brand awareness to maximise sales
    Assist with copywriting (blogs, newsletters, press releases etc)

    Attend industry events for networking purposes (adhoc)
    Support the team at internal and external events (adhoc)

    Experience & Skills
    Minimum 3 years’ experience in PR, digital marketing, content marketing or social media
    Must be graduate calibre or have significant industry experience
    Attention to detail
    Excellent written, oral and telephone communication skills
    Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
    Ability to conduct telephone research
    Ability to thrive under the pressure
    The ideal candidate is proactive and committed to reaching targets
    Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
    Comfortable working in a small team
    Uses initiative
    Previous experience using a CMS or WordPress or publish online content is desirable
    Experience using Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Facebook Ads, Instagram Sponsored Posts, Schedugram desirable

    Salary: Daily Rate
    Location: London SW2 (Brixton)
    Contract: Would suit a freelancer with own laptop and availability to pop into office 1 or 2 days per week.
    Start Date: Immediate
