A Suit That Fits announces international expansion plans

Online tailor A Suit That Fits has announced international expansion plans across the Baltic states, Russia and the US in 2014. Founded by entrepreneurs Warren Bennett and David Hathiramani in 2006, the business entered Latvia this month with the setting up of a studio with a tailoring partner in the capital, Riga. Warren’s plans to target the Baltics had been accelerated after a mutual friend introduced them to Latvian actor Rihards Lepers, who wanted to help launch the business in the Baltics. A Suit That Fits, which operates 32 studios across the UK and one in Dublin will also leverage Lepers’ fame across Lithuania, Estonia and Russia to set up studios with third parties this year. Warren Bennett is now based in New York where the company has an office, with plans to target the East Coast this year with potential studios opening up in locations such as Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia. As a result of the expansion plans, A Suit That Fits has forecast that sales will rise by 15% to £3.5m for the 12 months to the end of December 2013. Over the Christmas period, the company said like-for-like sales increased by 17%.
