Ancient Greek Sandals collaborates with Carven

 

Founder and Creative Director of Ancient Greek Sandals, Christina Martini unveils her collaboration with Parisian fashion house Carven as part of their SS14 Resort collection. Martini worked with Carven’s Creative Director, Guillaume Henry, to design an exclusive gladiator sandal inspired entirely by bananas. Each sandal features a series of overlapping shapes, which wrap around the foot, ankle and leg. The pattern features cut-outs and hot stamps to keep the design as organic as possible, with stitching used only when absolutely necessary. The sandals come in flat, mid-height or high styles, in three plain vachetta colours: natural, yellow and black. The exclusive styles will be available in key stores worldwide for SS14 Resort, with prices starting at €240.
