ASC Apparel has appointed The London Fashion Agency to handle its PR activity. The brand takes influence from streetwear aesthetics and blends the functionality needed from living in surf and snow environments. ASC Apparel’s debut spring/summer 2015 collection consists of jersey tees, slim-fit vests and long-sleeve tees. Skewed mainly toward the menswear market, the offer also includes a women’s slouch-fit cropped-sleeve top in lightweight burnout fabric. Price point ranges from £30-£35. Design placements, graphic themes and the colour palette is influenced by 90’s skate and surf culture, playfully juxtaposed with mock American sports references, for an eclectic twist on summer streetwear. Key pieces include acid washed fabrics on washed black and mint grounds, vibrant pop colours of coral and surf with Varsity monogram logos also printed on fine marls.
