Nominees revealed for the 2013 Beauty Shortlist Awards

 

The shortlisted brands in the main categories this year include: Abahna, Balance Me, Benefit, Bodhi, Clarins, Cor Silver, Crabtree & Evelyn, Dr. Alkaitis, Dr. Hauschka, Dr. Organic, Elemis, EO, Green & Spring, Green People, Jonathan Ward London, Kahina, Karin Herzog, La Roche Posay, Lavera, Liz Earle, L’Occitane, Melvita, Neals Yard Remedies, NEOM Organics, NUXE, The Organic Pharmacy, Oskia, Pai Skincare, REN, Skinesis by Sarah Chapman, Shiffa, SKYN Iceland, Sophyto, Super Facialist by Una Brennan, Therapie by Michelle Roques-O’Neil, Tisserand, Weleda and Vaishaly. 

 

The theme for 2013 is “Feel Good Beauty” and this year sees the addition of a new award, “Best Fairtrade Beauty Brand”.  The main categories include Best Natural/Organic Skincare Brand, Best Value Natural/Organic High Street Brand, Best Natural Makeup Brand, Best Beauty Breakthrough and Best Fairtrade Beauty Brand. A total of 142 brands entered, and 408 products were tested by the judges between November 2012 and March 2013. The finalists have now been narrowed down to just three products or brands in each category and the winner and two finalists in each will be unveiled on 15 March.
