Centre:mk, the retail centre in Milton Keynes, owned by Hermes and managed by CBRE, has briefed the fashion and retail team at Rain Communications to manage a fashion focused PR programme, showcasing the centre’s offer as the regionally dominant centre with the widest brand offering across fashion, beauty and home. Working closely with centre:mk’s marketing team, managed by Shaun Rhodes, Rain has been tasked with creating an overall brand campaign for the year, as well as working with the concepting and delivering headline grabbing moments to support the centre’s marketing and events strategy. As the centre point between Oxford, Cambridge, Birmingham and London, Centre:mk is home to 240 stores, restaurants and cafés with anchor stores including John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, House of Fraser, Boots and Next, welcoming over 27 million visitors per year. Rain has been briefed to run a 12 month programme starting November 1 and will be working alongside centre:mk’s corporate PR agency Aver.
