This month sees the launch of Black Absinthe and Parisian Millefleurs from beauty brand Crabtree & Evelyn. The two new scents, which join Crabtree & Evelyn’s Heritage Collection, take inspiration from the city of Paris, combining traditional botanicals with a contemporary twist, featuring notes of absinthe, rose, narcissus, lavender and cypress. Each Heritage Collection fragrance is presented in a glass bottle inside a luxurious box decorated with archive illustrations. For Her: Parisian Millefleurs Flower Water (£45) contains an array of contrasting floral notes including narcissus, rose, tuberose and violet; balanced by a green accord of French juniper and cypress; and deepened with nuances of benzoin, French elemi and creamy woods. For Him: Black Absinthe Eau de Cologne (£45) is infused with herbaceous notes of absinthe, artemisia and fennel flower; with herbal notes of black liquorice and peppery vetiver.
