Creative HEAD has announced the winner of its 2017 Hair Icon Award. Celebrity hairstylist Sam McKnight wins the 2017 Hair Icon award, for the second year running, in the title’s annual Most Wanted Awards. Hosted at the Guildhall in the City of London, the awards were judged by a panel of influencers including Vogue Beauty Director Jessica Diner, session stylists and salon owners Luke Hersheson and Errol Douglas MBE, as well as Central Saint Martins’ professors and other industry taste makers. The competition, which is in its 17th year, honours individuals and teams within British hairdressing. This year saw the launch of the Hair by Sam McKnight, styling collection in Liberty London, which is now available worldwide on Net-a-Porter. The collection combines fashion and glamour into hair-care and styling.
