Creative HEAD names Most Wanted Awards winners
Last night saw the annual Creative HEAD Most Wanted Awards winners announced at a ceremony hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall at the Tate Modern in London. Now in its 13th year, Most Wanted celebrates the best of British hair talent. Winners of the Most Wanted Awards 2014 included Best Salon Team – Rainbow Room International, George Square, Glasgow; Best Local Salon – Malcolm Murphy Hair, Leicester; Best Salon Experience – Ruffians, London; Best New Salon – Laundry, Sheffield; and Creative Talent – Darren Ambrose, D&J Ambrose. The full list of winners is available online. Additionally, yesterday evening saw the announcement of Creative HEAD’s It List Awards. Launched in 2010, The It List focuses on the emerging young stylists whose exceptional creativity, skill and originality is helping to shape the future of British hairdressing. The It List includes: The Rising Star – Olivia Butt-Freer; The Fashionista – Jonathan De Francesco; The Entrepreneur – Joe Causier; The Visionary – Jonathan De Francesco; The It Girl – Ashleigh Hodges; and The It Guy – Richard Phillipart.
