    Dalston Department Store pops up again for Christmas Shopping
     
    Following the early success of Dalston’s newest retail ‘pop-up’, the people at Dalston Department Store are to open one more time before Christmas. Presenting more brands than ever before, there will be a distinctive Christmas range on offer with an array of men’s and women’s accessories, fine jewellery, innovative homewares and seasonal food that would make ideal gifts for friends and family.
     
    The location is a former warehouse setting accessed by a goods lift (complete with an elevator man!) a drinks bar and food for the our opening evening, and gourmet coffee and cakes during the day. All planned to make Dalston Department Store an enjoyable shopping experience that is a change from the usual high street names.
     
    On the Menswear floor, outwear and denim collective Natural Selection, for the hunter gatherers we bring you Filson Jackets and returning to the store, the ever-popular Scottish tailor & outdoor menswear brand D.S.DUNDEE.
     
    In Womenswear, we have a treasure trove of vintage womenswear from Retrouve, luxury sheepskin from Dlux, and in the accessories department; hand printed silk scarves with an urban twist from Urban Chintz, stylish leather gloves from Gizelle Gloves, designer and covetable vintage sunglasses from Loveiwear.
     
    And for both men & women, we have the LA denim brand renowned for its famous ‘curve-hugging comfortable fit’ Hudson Jeans, stylish quality leather accessories from Oscar and lastly rock and roll inspired denim from NYC brand Tripp Jeans.
     
    Over at the jewellery counter, we present bold and contemporary jewellery design from DUNA Jewellery and beautifully simple silver jewellery of premium quality from Muru. In the perfumery we have soap and scent company from Sicily Ortigia.
     
    Up in the homeware department we have reclaimed vintage interiors and contemporary homewares from Solid iD, collectable furnishings from Two Columbia Road, stationary aficionados Katy & June and for the children, nostalgic toy brand Clockwork Soldier. Not forgetting the Book Shop, full of vintage publications ranging from beautifully designed paperback editions, classic books of fiction, art and photography, fashion and a fab selection of children’s books.
     
    In the ‘Food Hall’ expect to find hand-wrapped luxury panettone from St. Pancras Food with refreshments supplied by Shoreditch caffeine pioneers Dunne Frankowski. Finally, we have beautiful Christmas wreaths that sound good enough to eat, including ‘Mulled wine’ and ‘Luxury Orange’ from Larkspur & Lavender.
     
    The Dalston Department Store is once more proud to collaborate on this event with the celebrated East London Design Show, bringing the best of the UK’s independent product, interior and jewellery designers to the table.
