Skincare brand Dermalogica introduces PreCleanse Wipes. Originally introduced in liquid form, PreCleanse will now be offered in packs of biodegradable wipes. Formulated with a blend of lightweight olive and apricot kernel based oil and fortified with kukui nut, borage seed and rice bran oils, PreCleanse Wipes are designed to remove surface debris and prep skin for the cleansing process. These wipes thoroughly lift and remove excess sebum, sunscreen, waterproof makeup and environmental pollutants which build up during the day, readying skin for a second, more complete cleanse with a traditional cleansing product. PreCleanse Wipes contain plant-based oils which work to ‘melt’ the layers of oil-based debris on the skin as oil molecules bond to each other. These oils then emulsify when water is added, encapsulating and removing the trapped debris and allowing the prescribed Dermalogica cleanser to penetrate even further.
