ellesse has joined forces with fitness fanatic Lucy Mecklenburgh to launch their first ever recycled sports collection. The range recycles polyethylene; one of the most common consumer plastics used to reduce the amount going into landfill sites by showing that the bottles used during exercise can be recycled to create your work out gear. The collection includes a range of sports bras, running vests, shorts, leggings and running jackets. In keeping with the ellesse tradition, the capsule collection also draws on ellesse’s rich sporting heritage, updating iconic pieces and classic designs in exclusive prints that reflect the environmental message of the range. Each piece is curated by Lucy who is focused on selecting key silhouettes with great fits and luxurious fabrics whilst also maintaining the full functionality of the products in lightweight fabrics that are strong and inherently water resistant. Prices range from £18 to £50, available online now.
