Face of Versace Men’s SS14 campaign announced
Canadian born actor Nolan Funk has been announced as the face of Versace’s menswear advertising campaign for spring / summer 2014. Photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, the campaign images are mostly black and white, and are shot against a plain background to focus attention on Nolan’s athletic movement and energy. In each image he wears iconic Versace pieces refreshed for the 21st century: the tailored suit, the graphic print, the Greek key motif brief, and the rock’n roll leather jacket and pants. Donatella Versace comments: “I love our new Versace menswear campaign starring Nolan Funk. He brings these iconic Versace pieces to life with his energy and spirit. The campaign is full of the essence of Versace, now and forever.”
