New fashion app The EDIT has announced its sponsorship of Graduate Fashion Week. The Edit will support the event by providing the app as a platform from which to showcase the collections of fashion graduates. The EDIT app enables shoppers to browse and buy clothes from brands on their mobile phones. The EDIT combines a ‘Tinder’ style interface, and a universal shopping basket to make browsing and buying clothes simple, seamless and secure. The EDIT app is hosting two competitions on the app in partnership with Graduate Fashion Week to find the best finalist’s collection, and an Instagram-based street-style competition. Users of the EDIT app will be invited to form the judging panel for this year’s Best of the Best competition. The winning designer will be announced at the Graduate Fashion Award Show on June 2. For the Street-style competition, images will be captured of the most stylish attendees with photos loaded to The EDIT app Instagram account each day. The image that receives the most likes and re-grams at the end of every day will be invited to contribute a guest spot on the Editor’s Choice on the site.
