Flamingo Candles has announced its support for the Pink Ribbon Foundation with a new product launch of a special edition Pink Ribbon fragrance. The fragrance will be available as a classic Flamingo Candle and Scent Melt, with 20% of sales donated to the Foundation to help the fight against breast cancer. The Pink Ribbon Foundation is a grant making trust with a mission to fund projects and provide financial support to UK charities which relieve the needs of people who are suffering from, or who have been affected by breast cancer or who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer, its early detection and treatment. Flamingo Candles offers a range of candles, hand-poured in the UK, using natural soy wax. The Flamingo Candles Pink Ribbon fragrance is a rich, cranberry accord dominated by top notes of sweet cranberry blended with prune juice, complimented by a fruity floral heart of strawberry, sun ripened raspberry and citrus orange with sweet honey and rose notes. The base is woody and powdery with notes of cedarwood and vanilla with a hint of raspberry. The Candle features the pink ribbon on a special edition white gloss lid and the Scent Melt is in a bright pink wrap with a label featuring the pink ribbon. The candle will retail for £12 and the Scent Melt for £2. The brand is also donating £2 for every The Melt Crowd subscription box it sells, during October which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Available from September 28.
