London-based footwear label SWEAR has appointed DECEMBER to manage its press and publicity. Founded in 2001 by José Neves, the SWEAR aesthetic is synonymous with the casual hybrid shoe, and explores playful silhouettes realised in superior materials and using traditional craftsmanship. For autumn / winter 14 SWEAR has collaborated with Richard Nicoll to develop a line of shoes for his menswear collection, which sees a classic SWEAR runner style updated in Richards choice of metallic shades of dark blue, rich browns and coppers, juxtaposed with pastel coloured soles in keeping with his clean, minimal in line, that is both directional and bold in statement. SWEAR forms part of SIX London’s brands, a London-based shoe studio that incorporates a contemporary brands’ portfolio including; bStore, Opening Ceremony, Markus Lupfer, Toga Pulla, and Thakoon Addition.
