Graduate Fashion Week launches International Show

 

Graduate Fashion Week has announced the launch of a new International Show featuring 16 of the world’s leading fashion universities. Each university is represented by one graduate, with a winning collection chosen by a panel of judges headed by Sara Maino, Senior Fashion Editor, Vogue Italia. Graduates from the following universities will be participating: Parsons, Academy of Art (San Francisco), BUNKA (Japan), Shenkar (Israel), Shih Chien (Taiwan), FIT (Italy), Istituto Marangoni Milan, IED (Institito Europeo di Design – Italy), Accademia di Costume e Moda (Italy), IUVA (Italy), Kolding (Denmark), Istituto Marangoni Paris, ESMOD Berlin, ESMOD Oslo, Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design (Pakistan), and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts (Turkey). They will all participate in a joint international show on June 3. There will also be an International Award for the best collection judged by Sara Maino, senior editor Vogue Italia and the Royal College of Art’s Professor Wendy Dagworthy, who is a trustee of Graduate Fashion Week.
