Harlequins collaborates with adidas
Harlequins Rugby Club has collaborated with adidas to launch its home, away and charity kits for the forthcoming season. Following Harlequins’ traditional home kit to celebrate the 150th anniversary season, the design for the 2017/18 home kit has taken inspiration from Savile Row tailoring. The 2017/18 away kit took inspiration from adidas’ “defend your territory” rugby theme. With a battle-worn camouflage featuring the boroughs of London, the pattern also incorporates the unique Harlequins diamond. The 2017/18 charity shirt is a black-based shirt featuring the symbolic Harlequins quarters rotated 45 degrees, alongside asymmetric magenta stripes and cuffs. Each shirt features the Harlequins Foundation’s logo and £5 of each shirt sold will go to the Harlequins Foundation as the official beneficiary charity of Big Game 10. The home, away and charity shirt are all made using adidas climalite technology which allows body moisture to evaporate more easily. Both Harlequins’ home and away kits are available online and in store, with the charity shirt available from August 2017.
