Japanese designer Hideo Wakamatsu launches luggage label in the UK

 

Tokyo-based Japanese designer Hideo Wakamatsu has launched a new luggage range in the UK. Under the new brand strapline ‘Hideo Wakamatsu -The Art of Luggage’, the luggage range is targeted at the design and style-conscious audience. The launch of Hideo Wakamatsu in the UK will be supported by a campaign that will see Hideo Wakamatsu luggage being given to visionary artists from the worlds of music, fashion, art, and design, for them to interpret and create their own signature pieces of art. Designed to meet a variety of travel requirements, Hideo Wakamatsu luggage provides customers with a variety of options including cabin luggage such as the Tarpaulin trolley back-pack range (from £85 to  £205) and carry-on luggage such as the Max Cabin range (£195). The collection also caters for business travellers, offering laptop bags such as the Rozan and the more casual traveller with the Tarp Messenger bag (from £85 to £97). The range is available online.
