Butikku, the new online shop from London-based luxury Japanese clothing retailer Collectionaires has launched. Butikku is the new re-branding of Collectionaires, a small London-based retailer which has dedicated itself to carrying Japanese clothing since its founding in 2013. Butikku (from the Japanese for boutique) reflects their philosophy of ‘always be different’, offering a carefully curated collection of stand-out pieces, from a host of top Japanese designers. Today, Butikku has a selection from around 20 top designers, with approximately 200 different styles of clothing and various accessories on offer. But each style is intentionally limited to a maximum of just four pieces (including varied sizes) and many are limited to just one or two. Butikku has previously sold mainly through pop-up shops, but has now turned its attention to the online shop making it easier for customers to shop.
